Research and Planning: Analysis of sound teaser trailer
The scene start off with the phone ringing, which straight away builds tension (Diegetic sound). Then when the girl is finished talking to the killer on the phone and she realises she isn't alone, the mood music builds (Non-diegetic sound) up to create tension, then a huge smashing sound is herd as a chair is thrown through the window. (Diegetic sound). Then the girl screams (Diegetic sound) then the scene cuts and moves on to what the rest of the film is about. A voice over can then be herd commentating more about the film (Non-diegetic) and as the scene progresses the mood music builds up (Non Diegetic) and inbetween shots a thunder bolt can be herd (Non Diegetic) to build tension and make the atmosphere seem more scary. A door shutting can also be herd later on in the scene (Diegetic sound). There are also subtitles towards the end of the scene which are read out by the voice over (both Diegetic and Non diegetic) and the mood music becomes louder and more sound is added to it (Non-diegetic) crashes and bangs also become more frequent building up the action within the trailer (Diegetic sound)
